Voda na mnoha m\u00edstech zaplavila i prvn\u00ed patra dom\u016f. V nov\u00e9m m\u011bst\u011b st\u00e1le vykl\u00edzej\u00ed zni\u010den\u00e9 zbo\u017e\u00ed z obchod\u016f a v\u011bci z dom\u016f. Na ulic\u00edch je st\u00e1le bahno z \u0159eky.<\/p>\n

Star\u00e9 m\u011bsto, kter\u00e9 se kdysi py\u0161nilo v\u00edcepatrov\u00fdmi domy ze d\u0159eva a cihel (trochu p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00edc\u00ed Nizozem\u00ed) s vysok\u00fdmi okny zdoben\u00fdmi filigr\u00e1nsk\u00fdmi d\u0159evo\u0159ezbami, je dnes u\u017e jen rozpadaj\u00edc\u00edm se torzem, ve kter\u00e9m se to v\u0161ak hem\u017e\u00ed lidmi, velk\u00fdmi sme\u010dkami ps\u016f na hromad\u00e1ch tlej\u00edc\u00edch odpadk\u016f a hejny holub\u016f, kter\u00e9 m\u00edstn\u00ed krm\u00ed kuku\u0159ic\u00ed rozhazovanou p\u0159ed me\u0161itami. M\u016f\u017eete si ji tam dokonce v s\u00e1\u010dku koupit. Zdej\u0161\u00ed me\u0161ity jsou snad jedin\u00fdmi udr\u017eovan\u00fdmi stavbami a rozhodn\u011b stoj\u00ed za pozornost. Nejenom pro svou zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00ed architekturu, ale i pro kr\u00e1sn\u00e9 zdoben\u00ed interi\u00e9ru technikou papier m\u00e2ch\u00e9. Osv\u011b\u017euj\u00edc\u00ed je tak\u00e9 n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bva chr\u00e1mu Sikh\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed jsou velmi mil\u00ed a pohostinn\u00ed. Mughalsk\u00e9 zahrady za m\u011bstem u\u017e jen vzd\u00e1len\u011b p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00ed n\u011bkdej\u0161\u00ed kr\u00e1su. M\u00edsto zur\u010d\u00edc\u00ed vody a vodotrysk\u016f jsou tu jen rozpadaj\u00edc\u00ed se koryta. Zb\u00fdv\u00e1 snad jen jezero Dal s jeho hausb\u00f3ty a \u0161ikarami. Smutn\u00fd obraz n\u011bkdej\u0161\u00ed kr\u00e1sy. PS: ve Srinagaru je i \u00fadajn\u00fd hrob Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161e Krista, kter\u00fd podle n\u011bkter\u00fdch pramen\u016f v Ka\u0161m\u00edru p\u016fsobil. Bohu\u017eel vstup do me\u0161ity, ba i jen jej\u00ed fotografov\u00e1n\u00ed je striktn\u011b zak\u00e1z\u00e1no.<\/p>\n

Srinagar – Lake Pearl of Kasmir. You will probably find this headline in the guide book. Reality is different. There was a horrible flood in September. Many houses collapsed and a lot of people lost everything, but this is not the reason why this city is only reflection of past glory. Old city with his proud houses made of bricks and wood (similar to houses in the Netherlands) is slowly colapsing into the ruins overflowing with people, dogs, garbage and flocks of pigeons feeded with corn seeds by local muslim people in the courtyards of mosques. You can even buy this seeds in a small plastic bags there. Mosques seems to be the only preserved buildings in the old city which are realy worth seeing for their unique architecture and beatifull interiours decorated by papier m\u00e2ch\u00e9 technique. We found very warm welcome in the temple of Sikhs. Also the famous Mughal gardens are only the reflection, because of dry water channels and fountains without water. Only the Dal lake with houseboats and shikara boats remains. Sad picture of the glory of the past. PS: in the Rozabal shrine there is a grave of Jesus Christ according to one controversial theory.
